Department of Health and Human Services

The Health and Human Services Department is responsible for a vast array of services available to families, adults and children that need assistance with mental health, substance abuse, and disability issues as well as promotion of health and safety of the whole community. In addition, through the application of State and Federal guidelines, the Department determines eligibility for the public benefit programs W-2, Food Share, Child Care, Energy Assistance and Medical Assistance.
